It’s your text – take my words for it.

Literary translator working between Finnish and German. Bringing contemporary fiction, children’s books, and non-fiction to new audiences through careful, culturally sensitive translation.

What I do

I’m a professional translator, primarily of literary and non-fiction texts, from Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish into English. I also work with medical and legal documents from the same languages as well as from German.

I welcome your request for a proposal for translations of any length, proofreading or language checking, or, as my schedule permits, occasional post-editing tasks. I do not work with texts involving generative AI, nor will I consent to having my texts processed to train such programs.

My clients have included Penguin/Random House, Bonnier Rights, Cappelen Damm, Rights & Brands, Bonnier Rights Finland and other agencies as well as private individuals.
